Compromise

Started with two strong blocks of color, each standing clearly on its own. Then, through soft pastels on raw canvas, the colors were worked together slowly, allowing each one to meet the next without disappearing completely.

Compromise stems from the idea that strong positions, ideas, or thoughts do not always need to defeat one another. Sometimes, when there is patience, listening, and empathy, they can evolve into something new.

It is an exploration of color, tension, blending, and the quiet strength of meeting somewhere in the middle.
